
The Wuhan Coronavirus Outbreak, also known as the Novel Coronavirus Outbreak, refers to a viral outbreak that began spreading in Wuhan, China in early December 2019. In January 2020, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed that the first case in the United States had been detected. As of late January 2020, there have been six deaths attributed to the virus and a total of 317 cases.
