Onyxia’s Lair is currently a level 80 raid dungeon in World of Warcraft. However, at the original release of World of Warcraft, it was a level 60 (the level cap at the time), 40-man raid dungeon. It was only one of two 40-man raids available in the game, the other being Molten Core. These two raids were considered the pinnacle of achievement for raiding guilds at the time and, hence, stress and frustration often overflowed as things went wrong.
