The still-shots from Superman/Batman: Apocalypse were posted on 4chan’s /co/ (comics and cartoons) board as early as circa September 2010. The said images would be altered and posted on the board quite a bit, accompanied with the fragmented phrasal template, “X, I…”
Occasionally, this still image has been also used as an alternative template.
Spread
Since its emergence on 4chan’s imageboards, the drawing fad has spread over to various hubsites like FunnyJunk, DeviantArt and Tumblr and MemeGenerator.
