Business Cat is a LOLcat image macro series with an Advice Dog spinoff / Memegenerator starburst background. The overlaid text usually includes something a boss would do or request, but with a feline twist.
Origin
There was a Reddit post on 1/4/2011 titled “Business Cat” with the original image without the starburst background, and had no overlaid text.
Later that same day, another Reddit thread titled “Business Cat ain’t no joke” had the same cat, but in image macro form with a starburst background.
