About
Portal 2 Space Personality Core is a robot AI character at the end of the video game Portal 2, that is programmed to be obsessed with space. The character is often quoted saying “Spaaaaaaacce”, and has inspired several single serving sites.
Origin
At the final boss battle there are a series of sphere shaped cores that each have their own personality. The player must attach the corrupted cores to the boss in order to beat him. One of these is known as the “space core”, a yellow eyed sphere seemingly incapable of thinking of anything other than space. It constantly repeats the words “space space space”, lists facts about space, and reflects on what it will do once it gets to space.
Spread
The domain spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaccee.com1 was created on April 20th, 2011. It now hosts the Cat on a Keyboard in Space 2 , and the Nyan Cat space core derivatives.3 A YTMND page was created on April 24th.4
